Shelley joined the Secura Financial team in 2022 in order to make a positive change for her clients by sharing resources and maximizing talents thus providing an even higher level of service. Shelley started her career in 2006, working in the financial services industry as a financial security advisor with Freedom 55 Financial/London Life which is now Canada Life. Since joining the industry in 2006, Shelley has centered her practice on the motto, Client Focused, Team Driven. She believes her clients needs must always come first while working in a strong team focused environment. Together, she coaches and navigates a solid financial plan to ensure needs and goals are able to be met for each client.
Shelley is passionate about helping those in need in the community and beyond. Charitable giving is a big part of her practice. Through her Share and Grow campaigns, she inspires her clients to give back and get involved.
On the personal side…
Born in Trenton Ontario, Shelley was part of a military family, where she spent four years of her childhood in Cold Lake Alberta, before returning to the Trenton area. Shelley spent her childhood involved in competitive Highland Dancing, Gymnastics, and Soccer. Shelley married her high school sweetheart, Ed and they raised two girls, Jocelyn and Ashley. When not completing home renovations you will find Shelley and her family, hiking, camping, canoeing, kayaking, or spending quality time with her grandson. Shelley also volunteers her time, through her church community, as well as local charities. Family being very important to Shelley and Ed, you will see them being the host of numerous large family gatherings. This is a real passion for Shelley.
